Blame the President or the Precedent?
As recently as September 2007, the Senate passed the Matthew Shepard Bill to protect against gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gender, and persons with disabilities under the hate crime law. However our president, George W. Bush has a history of opposing hate crime legislation, and is almost guaranteed to veto one of the most important hate crime bills of our time.…
